Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To develop a BmK Scorpion quality control technology based on toxin peptide. METHODS In this study, a novel sodium channel toxin BmK NaTx-13 was isolated from BV, and the specific polyclonal antibody against BmK NaTx-13 was obtained by immunizing rabbits. RESULTS A competitive enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) based on BmK NaTx-13 specific antibody could detect the content of BmK NaTx-13 in the processed BmK scorpion extract and showed a good linear concentration dependent. CONCLUSION This research provided a rapid immunoassay method for establishing the quality detection processed BmK scorpion, and provided an insight for improving the quality standard of whole scorpion medicine.
