Abstract:
This paper introduces the basic contents of meridian syndrome differentiation under the initial centripetal mode of meridian theory and the later cyclical mode of meridian theory. Compared with the Zangfu-meridian cyclical model, the initial heart-oriented meridians model focuses more on the change of meridians and qi in the limbs. The differentiation of meridians in this model is intended to illustrate the relationship between the distant parts of the body and reflects the core and characteristics of acupuncture and moxibustion diagnosis and treatment. The Zangfu-meridian cyclical model will belong to Zangfu, so that the differentiation of meridians under the guidance of this pattern will focus more on the exploration and summary of the overall function of the body, aiming to explain the pathological and physiological relationship between the diseases and Zangfu and Meridian, so as to clarify the etiology and pathogenesis. It is believed that only by clearly distinguishing the characteristics and differences between the two meridians can acupuncture and moxibustion be better performed in clinical practice.
