Abstract: It is believed that blood stasis exists in the whole process of tumor， and blood stasis coexisting with deficiency is the basic pathogenesis of tumor occurrence and development. The static adhesion formed by tumor thrombus adhering to the inner wall of blood vessel， namely blood stasis， is the core link of tumor metastasis. Then， it is proposed that static adhesion is the origin of dynamic metastasis and dynamic metastasis is the development of static adhesion， while healthy qi deficiency and blood stasis is the basic pathogenesis of tumor metastasis. Therefore， blood-activating and stasis-resolving medicine combined with invigorating-qi medicine can be used to cut off the trend of tumor metastasis， that is， breaking the static adhesion is the key of Chinese medicine intervention in tumor metastasis prevention. Therefore， choosing the right variety， grasping the time of use， and dialectically combining other medicine are the important links to ensure the curative effect.
