Abstract: Common types of malignant tumors in digestive tract as esophageal cancer， gastric cancer， colon cancer and rectal cancer can be observed in professor ZHOU Zhongying's clinical practice， with each case presenting different manifestations. The main processes in pathogenesis include accumulation of cancer toxin， dysfunction of stomach in digesting food and transporting food downward， conduction disorder of intestine in receiving， resolving and separating the useful from the waste. And the formula prescribed are aimed to fight against cancer， purify toxin， remove phlegm， eliminating stasis， regulate spleen and stomach， replenish qi and nourish yin， with corresponding tumor characteristics being taken into consideration.
