Abstract: Blood-activating and stasis-resolving medicine is a common drug to treat tumors. Most scholars believe that blood-activating and stasis-resolving medicine， especially expelling blood circulation drugs， is effective to treat malignant tumor， while some scholars believe that the application of such drugs will promote tumor metastasis and diffusion. These drugs may have a positive or negative effect on cancer invasion and metastasis. It makes them more controversial. Through pharmacological experiment and clinical observation， blood-activating and stasis-resolving medicine conforms to differential diagnosis and treatment of TCM in treating malignant tumor. These drugs are essential in the prevention and treatment of cancer. To make blood-activating and stasis-resolving medicine produce anti-tumor invasion and metastasis， the key factors are discerning the nature and location of tumor， choosing the right breed， taking appropriate compatibility and selecting appropriate time according to TCM.
