Abstract: OBJECTIVE To explore into the multiple association relationship among theories,methods,prescriptions and drugs in the experience of famous doctors,based on 628 medical cases of famous doctors.METHOD FP-tree method was adopted.RESULTIt was found that there existed a number of interesting association relationships between symptoms and prescriptions,between symptoms and syndromes and between drugs and syndromes.Drugs for tonification and qi regulation appeared most frequently and syndromes such as deficiency of the spleen and stomach,incoordination between the liver and stomach,deficiency and stagnation of qi in the middle energizer and dampheat in the spleen and stomach also appeared frequently.CONCLUSION Although direct prescription-syndrome correlation was not detected with FP-free method,the regularities we obtained were still of important value for understanding the experience of famous doctors in treating the diseases of the spleen and stomach.
