Abstract: OBJECTIVE To explore into the application of entropy partition method in the study of the diagnostic standards for TCM syndromes.METHOD The diagnostic information about 400 cases of dysfunction of blood vessel endothelium was obtained and entropy partition method was used to obtain the information of the symptoms of phlegm-dampness syndrome,so as to calculate the relevance of the various symptoms to the syndrome.ROC was then used to determine the threshold of the syndrome,followed by retrospective and prospective tests dealing with sensitivity,specificity and conformity.RESULT The established diagnostic standards for damp-phlegm syndrome in dysfunction of blood vessel endothelium is efficient in diagnosis.CONCLUSION Entropy partition method is scientific and can be used in the study of TCM syndrome diagnostic standard.
