Abstract: OBJECTIVE To observe the therapeutic effect of Xiaozhi Huoxue Oral Liquid and Silybin Meglumine Tablet used in the treatment of alcoholic fatty liver (AFL).METHOD Eighty-nine AFL patients were divided randomly into three groups,a Chinese and western drug group of 29 patients,a Chinese drug group of 30 patients and a western drug group of 30 patients.Based on alcoholic abstinence,all the patients were given multiple vitamin oral liquids.RESULT The cure rates,effective rates,non-effective rates and total effective rates in the three groups were 12,15,2,93.1%;6,12,12,60.0% and 6,11,13,56.7% respectively,with marked statistical significance(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The therapeutic method combining Xiaozhi Huoxue Oral Liquid and Silybin Meglumine Tablet is more effective than simple Chinese drug or western drug therapies in improving clinical symptoms and reducing blood lipid.
