Abstract: This paper presents an exploration of the etiology of chronic obstruct ive lung diseases.The authors believe the main etiology lies in excess in the u pper part and deficiency in the lower part and the basis for the pathological changes lies in poor immunity.Both obstruction of qi in the chest and weak pulse at yang but stringy pulse at yin are closely related to the etiology,with the m ain syndrome of obstruction thoracic yang.
