Abstract: OBJECTIVE To investigate into the effect of Chinese medicine combined with enteroclysis with colon therapeutic apparatus in prolonging the process of renal failure.METHOD Sixty patients with chronic renal failure were divided evenly into a treatment group and a control group,treated respectively with Chinese medicines and enteroclysis and basic Chinese medicines for three months.RESULT In the treatment group,renal function was improved in varying degrees,with a drop of blood urea nitrogen and creatinine(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Chinese medicines and enteroclysis with Colon Therapeutic Apparatus has definite effect in the treatment of chronic renal failure.
