Abstract: OBJECTIVE To investigate into the anti - tumor effect of total alkaloids of Radix Sophorae Tonkinensis . METHOD Overall observation on the effect of the total alkaloids of Radix Sophorae Tonkinensis was made by establish S180, H22 and ESC mice tumor models. RESULT The total alkaloids of Radix Sophorae Tonkinensis had anti - tumor effect, but the tumor- inhibiting rate was low with great toxicity. CONCLUSION It is still questionable to use the total alkaloids of Radix Sophorae Tonkinensis as an anti - tumor agent.
