Abstract: OBJECTIVE To investigate into the regulating effect of Neiyi Recipe on reproductive endocrinology in endometriosis. METHOD Endometriosis rat models and pseudo - surgery models were established and radioimmunoassay was used to examine the levels of blood E2, hypothalamus GnRH, pituitary body LH and PRL and peripheral blood E2. RESULT The ectopic focus weight in the treatment group was markedly lower than the non - treatment group ( P < 0.05 ) . The hypothalamus GnRH content in the non - treatment group was markedly lower than the pseudo- surgery group and the treatment group ( P < 0.05) . The contents of peripheral blood E2 and Pituitary body PRL were markedly lower than the non - treatment group ( P < 0.05) . CONCLUSION Neiyi Recipe can regulate reproductive endocrinology through hypothalamus - pituitary gland - ovary axis.
