Abstract: OBJECTIVE To observe the therapeutic effect of acupuncture and Chinese drugs in the treatment of acne. METHOD The 80 patients were treated with acupuncture, percussopunctator, blood-letting method at the ear and Chinese drugs in combination. A control group was treated only with Chinese drugs. RESULT After 23 courses of treatment, the therapeutic effect obtained in the combined method group was much better than the control group, with extremely great difference ( P < 0.01) . CONCLUSION Acupuncture and pharmacotherapy used in combination is effective in the treatment of acne.
