Abstract: OBJECTIVE To observe the effect of Zhuyu Granule on the rat myocardial cell in fighting against CVB3 virus infection. METHOD Myocardial cells of rats infected by CVB3 virus were used to observe the pathological changes and myocardium zymogram changes. RESULT Zhuyu Granule could markedly reduce the pathological changes of the myocardial cells after infection and the release of myocardial cell enzyme. The result obtained in the group treated with Zhuyu Granule at the concentration of 4.0 mg/mL is significantly different from the virus control group. CONCLUSION Zhuyu Granule has strong effect of protecting myocardium and preventing CVB3 virus infection.
