高发呼吸道病毒感染的天然产物干预策略

Natural Product Intervention Strategies for High-Incidence Respiratory Viral Infections

  • 摘要: 呼吸道病毒感染严重威胁人类健康,尤其是近年来频发的流感病毒与新型冠状病毒疫情,突显出开发新型抗病毒药物的紧迫性。天然产物因其结构多样性和生物活性丰富,在抗病毒药物研发中具有独特优势。本文系统梳理了当前五类高发呼吸道病毒(流感病毒、冠状病毒、呼吸道合胞病毒、人鼻病毒、人偏肺病毒)的生物学特征、感染机制与抗病毒治疗靶点,并重点总结了近年来具有显著抗呼吸道病毒活性的天然产物,涉及其化学结构、作用机制及活性评估。多种天然产物不仅可抑制病毒复制与侵入,还可调控宿主免疫反应,展现出广谱、低毒、高效的潜力。这些天然产物为呼吸道病毒的药物发现与机制研究提供了理论参考与先导化合物基础。

     

    Abstract: Respiratory viral infections pose serious threats to human health, particularly highlighted by recent pandemics caused by influenza viruses and coronaviruses. Natural products, characterized by their structural diversity and unique biological activities, offer promising resources for antiviral drug development. This review systematically summarizes the biological features, infection mechanisms, and antiviral targets of five major respiratory viruses—namely influenza virus, coronavirus, respiratory syncytial virus, human rhinovirus, and human metapneumovirus. It highlights recent progress in the discovery of antiviral natural products, including their chemical structures, mechanisms of action, and in vitro/in vivo activities. Many of these compounds not only inhibit viral entry and replication but also modulate host immune responses, exhibiting broad-spectrum, low-toxicity, and high-efficiency potential. This work aims to provide theoretical references and lead compound resources for future antiviral drug discovery and mechanistic research.
