Abstract: This paper traces the origin of digital Chinese medicine, summarizes its embryonic form and development stage, the proposal of the term of digital Chinese medicine, the concept evolution at this stage, and the development and application of artificial intelligence in TCM. It is expected to inspire related researchers in the overall understanding and research in the field, and is expected to comprehensively promote the basic research and system construction of digital Chinese medicine.
