Abstract: This study introduces Chinese medicine master Liu Shangyi's years of clinical experience in TCM surgery and internal medicine. He referenced the relevant theories of TCM surgery and applied them into tumor treatment， and formed academic thought of "Introducing TCM Surgery Theory into Tumor Treatment". The thought specifically including "diagnosing the tumor on the basis of TCM surgery theory"， "treating the tumor with TCM surgery" and "treating the tumor with TCM surgery medicine"， etc. It is put forward that the skin membrane， internal and external syndrome differentiation is the theoretical basis for tumor diagnosis. TCM surgery Yin yang syndrome differentiation， internal and external treatment methods are the treating principals of TCM surgery. Applying the medication according to syndrome differentiation and different stages of disease development is the basis for treating tumors. Professor Liu Shangyi's academic thought of"Introducing TCM Surgery Theory into Tumor Treatment" develops the direction of tumor differentiation， which provides more thoughts and ways for clinical prevention and treatment of tumors.
