Effects of Guizhi Fuling Capsule on Apoptosis of Heterotopic Endometrial Cells, VEGF and Estrogen and Progesterone in the Serum of Rat EM Model

  • OBJECTIVE To observe the effect of VEGF, estrogen and progesterone in serum on ectopic endometrial cell apoptosis in EMS rats and explore the mechanism of Guizhi Fuling Capsule. METHODS Establish rat endometriosis model by autologous transplantation methods, Four weeks after surgery, The rats were randomly divided into model group, mifepristone group, Sanjie analgesic capsule group, Guizhi Fuling pill high, medium and low dose group,with 15 rats per group. Four weeks after the drug intervention, the ectopic endometrial cell apoptosis was detected by TUNEL method The contents of estrogen and progesterone in serum were measured,The expression of caspase-7, VEGF and survivin was detected by immunohistochemistry. RESULTS The apoptotic rate of ectopic endometrial cells in Guizhi Fuling high dose group was significantly higher than model group,The expression of caspase-7 in ectopic endometrium of Guizhi Fuling high dose group and mifepristone group was significantly higher than model group,VEGF, survivin expression and the content of estrogen and progesterone in serum were significantly decreased. CONCLUSION The mechanism of the treatment of EMT by Guizhi Fuling Capsule, may be closely related to induced ectopic endometrial cell apoptosis and decreased endometrial VEGF expression and down-regulates the high expression of survivin and regulated levels of estrogen and progesterone in serum.
