Quyu Xiaoban Capsule Used in Treating Unstable Angina Pectoris and Its Effect on Plasma uPA and uPAR

OBJECTIVE To observe the treatment of unstable angina pectoris with Quyu Xiaoban Capsule and its effect on the levels of plasma u - PA and uPAR. METHOD With stratified random sampling 40 patients were divided into a treatment group of 20 patients treated with both routine western medicines and Quyu Xiaoban Capsule and a control group of another 20 patients treated with routine western medicines. RESULT Quyu Xiaoban Capsule could relieve the symptoms of angina pectoris and markedly reduce the levels of plasma u - PA and uPAR. CONCLUSION The combined method is more satisfactory than the simple western medicine treatment for unstable angina pectoris.
