An Analysis of Appfication of Factor Analysis in Establishing Concealed Structure Used in Syndrome Differentiation of Chronic Gastritis

The process of diagnosing diseases by TCM specialists is one of establishing the concealed structure in the mind,which contains both apparent variables such as the symptoms and concealed variables such as the syndromes.With chronic gastritis as an example and using factor analysis,the authors tried to determine the concealed variables in the concealed structure and investigate into the feasibility of using the method in differentiation of syndromes for chronic gastritis.
