Study on the Theory Construction of the Syndrome Identification System of Visceral Manifestation

The paper discussed the construction model with gradual advancement of the syndrome identification system of visceral manifestation, from the establishment of the concept to the creation of the thinking model, and then to the construction of the syndrome identification system. In addition, the authors also elaborated the ideas and methods of constructing the syndrome identification system with reference to the literature research and expert consultation, taking the research of clinical epidemiology and evidence-based medicine as vital means, and following the principle of "observing viscera based on manifestations and identifying syndromes according to symptoms". Multiple research methods were used to reveal the basic laws and principles of the syndrome identification in traditional Chinese medicine, obtain the information related to the identification of disease location and characteristics, and grasp clinical basic and compound syndromes. Finally, the study clarified the scientific significance, research characteristics and originality of the creation of the syndrome identification system of visceral manifestation.
