Abstract
Harmonizing and mild therapeutic method was proposed by Fei Boxiong, a famous doctor in Qing dynasty, which was highly recognized by Menghe Medical School. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) master Zou Yanqin utilized "harmonizing and mild therapeutic method" in the treatment of chronic kidney diseases. Reinforcing healthy qi and dispelling pathogen was the general treatment principle. Regulating and harmonizing zang-fu organs, qi and blood and the function of acting as a pivot, along with the usage ofneutral and mild medicine from her clinical practice were the specific application of harmonizing method and reflected the therapeutic style and thoughts from Menghe Medical School.
