Abstract
OBJECTIVE To compare the clinical effect of Chinese herbs, Fibroptic Ductoscopy and combination of both in the treatment of Plasma Cell Mastitis. METHOD 90 cases were equally grouped into A group treated with Chinese herbs, B group treated with Fibroptic Ductoscopy and C group treated with Chinese herbs plus Fibroptic Ductoscopy. RESULTS The curative rate of C group was 70.0% (P<0.05), which was superior to the other two groups. The effective rate of C group was also better than A and B group, reaching 86.7% (P<0.05). Average course of the treatment group was (4.95±2.16) weeks, significantly shorter than the other two groups. CONCLUSION Chinese herbs plus Fibroptic Ductoscopy or combination of Chinese and western medicine, which has higher curative rate as well as shorter course of treatment, is an effective treatment for Plasma Cell Mastitis.
