  • ABSTRACT From the inside and outside pathogenic wind in the treatment of cough variant asthma， it is believed that the basic pathogenesis is lung deficiency accompanied with wind pathogen invasion， with wind being the main cause. During the acute stage， it is focused on dispelling exogenous pathogen， relieving internal wind and removing phlegm. While at the remission stage， it is oriented in the regulation of zang and fu to remove the internal wind. At the normal situation， it is recommended to regulate the constitution and enhance the healthy qi.
