Research on Mechanism of Qingfei Pingchuan Capsule Treating Asthma

OBJECTIVE To explore the mechanism of Qingfei Pingchuan Capsule treating on asthma by discussing its function on asthma rats' IL-4， IL-13 cytokines， IgE inflammatory mediator， lipid peroxide MDA. METHODS The asthma rats' model were established by allergen， then the rats' BALF and IL-4， IL-13， IgE， MDA in serum were tested respectively.RESULTS Compared with saline group， the model group rats' BALF and IL-4， IL-13， IgE， MDA in serum were significantly higher(P<0.01， P<0.05)， and the contents of IL-4 in BALF in the model group have the positive correlation with the contents of MDA and IgE(r=0.83， 0.96， P<0.05). Compared with the model group， treatment group rats' BALF and IL-4， IL-13， IgE， MDA in serum were significantly lower(P<0.01， P<0.05)， and the contents of IL-4 in BALF in the model group have the positive correlation with the contents of MDA and IgE(r=0.86， 0.88， P<0.05).CONCLUSION Qingfei Pingchuan capsule can bring down the expression of MDA， IL-4， IL-13 cytokines， reduce the increasing inflammatory IgE， prevent asthma inflammation， relieve airway inflammation and ease its high-response， and avoid the aggravation of asthma.
