Abstract
OBJECTIVE To observe the on the effect of Shenkang Injection on the incidence of acute kidney injury and contrast-induced nephropathy after interventional surgery for senile patient with coronary heart disease. METHODS 62 cases of senile coronary heart disease who had interventional examination and treatment were randomly devided into two groups, namely observation group ( Shenkang group, 31 cases ) and control group (Hydration group, 31 cases). The two groups both received rutine treatment. The observation group received intravenous infusion of Shenkang Injection. The control group received hydration treatment. Blood samples of all the patients were taken to test their serum creatinine, and neutrophil gelatinase associated lipocalin (NGAL).The incidence of contrast-induced nephropathy of these two groups were compared. RESULTS 1 case in Shenkang group(3.2%) and 4 cases in Hydration group (12.9%) had CIN after surgery and there was a statistical significance between the two groups (P<0.05). There was no statistical significance between the comparisons of the two groups’ SCr and eGFR point after surgery(P>0.05). 12 hours and 24 hours after the surgery, the neutrophil gelatinase associated lipocalin (NGAL) of both groups increased while the increase in Hydration group was greater compared with Shenkang group with a statistical significance (P<0.05). Blood SCr value of Shenkang group at any test point after surgery was lower than that of Hydration group with a remarkably statistical significance ( P<0.01). CONCLUSION Shenkang Injection may have a good effect on preventing the incidence of acute kidney injury and contrast-induced nephropathy after interventional surgery for senile patient with coronary heart disease.
