On Syndrome Diagnosis of Hemorrhagic Stroke Based on Pathogenesis

  • Differentiating the syndrome of a disease according to the symptoms is the basic pattern of traditional Chinese medical (TCM) syndrome-differentiating system, with the advantage and feature of flexibility , and the disadvantage of being difficult to be regulated and unified. Based on determining the pathogenesis according to syndrome differentiation, this paper has presented the conception of pathogenic syndrome element which is the pathogenic element of a syndrome in a certain disease range, with the function of generalizing/reflecting the pathogenic characteristics of the syndrome. Springing from the pathogenic elements, the pathogenic syndrome elements have a limited number and clear content, so it's completely feasible to set up their regular syndrome-differentiating diagnostic standard, of which the premise is making a diagnostic scale of pathogenic syndrome element. Taking hemorrhagic stroke for example, this paper has studied the method and procedure of making the pathogenic syndrome element diagnostic scale, and has further studied the syndrome-differentiating diagnostic method based on the combination of pathogenic syndrome elements. The results have reflected the union of syndrome-differentiating flexibility and syndrome standardization, so as to adapt to the complicated and changeable situation of TCM clinical syndromes, and open up a new way of establishing the TCM differential model with the union of syndrome standardization and syndrome-differentiating flexibility.
