Abstract: OBJECTIVE To investigate into the effect of Liuwei Dihuang Decoction and its drug combination on blood lipid and fiber dissolution activity based on experiments on aging rat models with blood stasis. METHOD Using aging rat models with blood stasis,the authors made observations on the effect of Liuwei Zihuang Decoction and its drug combination on rat in vitro thrombosis,serum lipid,brinase,tissue plasminogen activator(t-PA) and plasminogen activator inhibitor(PAI). RESULT Liuwei Dihuang Decoction could inhibit rat in vitro embolism,reduce blood lipid and brinase content,decrease PAI secretion and increase the level of t-PA.CONCLUSION By regulating the secretion function of the endothelium cell of the rat models,Liuwei Dihuang Decoction can regulate blood lipid and the fibrinolytic system,thus inhibiting the formation of thrombus.
