Abstract: OBJECTIVE To optimize the extraction technique of Simiao Yongan Decoction.METHOD Orthogonal method was used to observe the condition of water extraction, with the yield of total flavonoids, caffeotannic acid and total glycosides as the observation indexes.RESULT The number of times of extraction is directly related to the various indexes. The optimal technique was determined with an alcohol sediment concentration of 70% . CONCLUSION This method can be used to extract the main active components in the decoction, which is simple and can meet enriching and purifying ends.
