Professor Liu Shenlin's Experience in Treating Chronic Constipation

Professor Liu Shenlin believes that the five zang-organs dominate the function of Pomen (anus)， so treatment of five zang-organs should be the way to cure constipation. Constipation due to deficiency syndrome should be given priority to with tonification and combination of purgation. Constipation due to excess syndrome should be based on purgation and pay attention to prevent injury. Through the analysis of diagnosis and treatment of typical medical records， the clinical experience of professor Liu Shenlin in treating chronic constipation was systematically summarized.
