YE Fang, ZHOU Xue-ping, CHENG Hai-bo, WU Mian-hua, ZHOU Zhong-ying
2017, 33(5): 436-439.
Abstract:
It is believed that theory of qi-monism is the core of TCM theories, which guides the syndrome differentiation and treatment of TCM. The different differentiations methods of TCM, such as syndrome differentiation in accordance with eight principles, syndrome differentiation in accordance with five-zang organs, syndrome differentiation in accordance with qi, blood and body fluid and syndrome differentiation in accordance with six meridians, are all the methods used to understanding the pathogenesis of human body's yin-yang balance. In fact, TCM pathogenesis refers to understand the mechanism of health, occurrence and development of disease from the perspective and thinking of Chinese medicine. While, theory of qi-monism combined with theories of yin and yang, visceral manifestations, qi, blood and body fluid, six meridians, constitutes the epistemological basis of the holism of TCM.
Exploration of Several Issues about TCM Pathogenesis Differentiation System
FANGLiang, YEFang, ZHOUXue-ping, ZHOUZhong-ying
2017, 33(5): 440-442.
Abstract:
This paper expounds the construction process, innovation and significance of Professor Zhou Zhong-ying's pathogenesis differentiation system, and discusses the concept of pathogenesis and its relationship with syndrome. It is believed that the highest realm of TCM syndrome differentiation is applying the theory flexibly, and understanding the pathogenesis is the understanding of the essence of the disease. Pathogenesis is the definition of the nature of disease, while syndrome is the summarization of pathogenesis. Both of them are characterized by variability and regularity. The pathogenesis differentiation system not only embodies the clinical characteristics of pathogenesis changing in accordance with syndrome, but also presents the flexibility of syndrome differentiation. It also puts forward that future pathogenesis research can be designed from different aspects and levels, in order to guide clinical practice.

2017, 33(5): 443-447.
Abstract:
The processing theory of seed drugs be stir-heated before using for the seed medicine has a rich scientific connotation. However, the internal chemical changes and changing laws are not clear, the effective substances are not definite, and characteristic quality standards are in need, so it is difficult to control the quality of the seed drugs effectively. When processing the Chinese herbal medicines, the same technical methods may cause some common reactions frequently. Revealing the common mechanism of seed drugs be stir-heated before using in this further study has guiding meaning to establish characteristic quality standards. On the basic of the theory of seed drugs be stir-heated, this study will use the spectrum-activity relationship method to study the changes of the chemical composition and pharmacological effect, clarify the effective basis, and reveal common mechanism during the stir-frying process. Meanwhile, this paper will use pharmacokinetics method to clarify the effective substances in vivo of Chinese medicine. On this basis, multi-components by one marker, LC-MS and other methods will be employed to establish characteristic standards for these seed drugs, and then to guide the standardized production and clinical use of seed drugs.

2017, 33(5): 448-452.
Abstract:
Chinese medicine processing is a kind of traditional pharmaceutical technology, which can reduce toxicity, enhance the curative effect, change the properties and facilitate dispensing preparations in clinical use. The technology of detoxification is a great pioneering work for the safe application of toxic Chinese medicine, which can reduce the side effects of certain drugs, ensure the clinical safe use and expand the scope of clinical application through processing. In this paper, we searched the toxic Chinese medicine and the processing technology in ancient literatures of TCM, and then we summarized and analyzed their latest studies at home and abroad. Thus, we make a summary of toxic Chinese medicine including its classification, site of action, the toxic components, detoxification and its clinical application. Meanwhile, we proposed an opinion that toxic Chinese medicines with the same processing technology had common detoxification rules. Therefore, we hope this work will provide new perspectives for the research on the processing of toxic Chinese medicine and the mechanism of detoxification.

2017, 33(5): 463-469.
Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To provide the basis for the medicinal quality standard of Chinese medicine processing accessories of rice vinegar through analysis with fingerprints of different kinds of origin and brand of rice vinegar. METHODS 33 batches of vinegar were collected. The mobile phase, column, elution, the mobile phase pH were investigated and the analysis method of HPLC fingerprint was optimazated, Among them, 20 batch of rice vinegar fingerprint were chosen to perform the similarity, cluster analysis and principal component analysis. RESULTS The concentration of rice vinegar was diluted at 1∶3 when it was injected. Chromatographic column was Thermo Hypersil GOLD (5 μm,250 mm×4.6 mm); the mobile phase was composed of methanol and 0.07% phosphoric acid aqueous solution and a gradient elution program at flow rate of 1 mL/min was applied. The column temperature maintained at 30 ℃. The injection volume was 10 μL. Then, the separation of characteristic peaks was optimum. Rice vinegar was divided into black vinegar and white vinegar. Furthermore, there was a big difference between black vinegar and white vinegar. The white vinegar almost showed only one peak of acetic acid, so, it's impossible to distinguish between brewing white vinegar and formulated white vinegar by HPLC. Similarity evaluation showed that 20 batch of white vinegar's fingerprints had palpable difference. Besides, clustering analysis and principal component analysis splited them into several categories. Different types of Hengshun vinegar indicated high similarity. Hence it could be seen that the quality of rice vinegar from the same brand was uniform and stable because of similar brewing processes and similar materials . CONCLUSION There are varieties of rice vinegar on the market with extensive source and uneven quality. 20 batches of black rice vinegar were chosen to compare the differences by HPLC fingerprints analysis, which provides reference for the medicinal quality control standard of traditional Chinese medicine processing accessories of rice vinegar.

Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To study the clinical effects of eliminate disease enema decoction in the treatment of fallopian tube obstructive infertility after laparoscopic surgery. METHODS 144 patients with fallopian tube obstructive infertility met with the study criteria were included and randomly divided into the observation group (78 cases) and the control group (66 cases). The control group was treated with laparoscopic surgery alone, and the observation group was treated with eliminate disease enema decoction after laparoscopic surgery. The decoction was used for 7 d continuously each time after menstruation, and the maximum continuously using period was six courses. The pregnancy status of 2 groups was observed and recorded and statistically analyzed. RESULTS The clinical pregnancy rates in the observation group and the control group within two years were 55.13% and 31.82%, respectively. The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The postoperative clinical efficacy within 1a was the best. CONCLUSION Performing the laparoscopic surgery first for patients with fallopian tube obstructive infertility and then treating with eliminate disease enema decoction can significantly improve the patient's clinical pregnancy rate.
