Reflection of Improving the Effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine Differentation and Treatment on Treating Chronic Viral Hepatitis Differentially
ZHOU Zhong-ying
2013, 29(6): 501-502.
Abstract:
Viral hepatitis with high incidence, wide prevalence and slow and hidden onset recurs easily, heals procrastinately and even develops into cirrhosis of the liver and liver cancer, thus belonging to resistant disease. Although traditional Chinese and western medicine have made great progress in the treatment, it is difficult to obtain satisfactory clinical effects due to many problems existed. From the concept of traditional Chinese medicine itself, how to improve the effects of TCM on treating chronic viral hepatitis differentially should be the key issue. Six aspects of syndrome differentiation, namely damp-heat retention, vessel stasis due to long-term illness, hidden toxin accumulation, spleen deficiency caused by stagnation of liver qi, zang-organ diseases affecting fu-organ, lingering pathogen due to vital qi deficiency should be paid more attention to. Treatment strategies should stress four aspects, namely treatment according to syndrome differentiation, reinforcement of vital qi to inhibit pathogen toxin, differences aside on common ground and main points of formulates.

TANG De-cai, ZANG Wen-hua, ZHU Ye-qiong, LI Bing-bing
2013, 29(6): 503-506.
Abstract:
Blood-activating and stasis-resolving medicine is a common drug to treat tumors. Most scholars believe that blood-activating and stasis-resolving medicine, especially expelling blood circulation drugs, is effective to treat malignant tumor, while some scholars believe that the application of such drugs will promote tumor metastasis and diffusion. These drugs may have a positive or negative effect on cancer invasion and metastasis. It makes them more controversial. Through pharmacological experiment and clinical observation, blood-activating and stasis-resolving medicine conforms to differential diagnosis and treatment of TCM in treating malignant tumor. These drugs are essential in the prevention and treatment of cancer. To make blood-activating and stasis-resolving medicine produce anti-tumor invasion and metastasis, the key factors are discerning the nature and location of tumor, choosing the right breed, taking appropriate compatibility and selecting appropriate time according to TCM.

OBJECTIVE To observe clinical effect of combination of Niaoduqing Granule and Huangkui on slowing down the progression of chronic renal failure during early stage. METHODS 116 cases diagnosed with early chronic renal failure were randomly divided into control group(58) and treatment groups A(28) and B(30), respectively treated with Aixite, Niaoduqing Granule and combination of Niaoduqing Granule and Huangkui. The following indices were detected before and eight weeks after treatment, including serum creatinine(Scr), endogenous creatinine clearance rate (Ccr), blood urea nitrogen (BUN), 24h urine protein, total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high density lipoprotein (HDL-C), low density lipoprotein (LDL-C). RESULTS After 8 weeks' treatment, group A and group B showed significant differences in all indices compared with those before treatment (P<0.05). Compared to the control group, there were significant differences of 24h urine protein, TC, TG, HDL-C and LDL-C in group A and B (P<0.05, P<0.01). There was significant difference between group A and B (P<0.05). As for clinical effect, group A and B showed significant difference, compared with control group (P<0.05). There was significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05).CONCLUSION Niaoduqing Granule combined with Huangkui is more effective to slow down the progression of chronic renal failure than Aixite by intervening the reversible factors causing malignant progression of renal function, such as excreating urine protein, regulating blood fat, reducing serum creatinine and blood urea nitrogen.

Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To investigate the clinical effective of patent Chinese drug Pushen Capsule treating hyperlipemia, and to demonstrate its function of lipid regulation. METHODS 120 cases of hyperlipemia patients were randomly divided into 3 groups (40 cases each). Group A was the Pushen capsule group and taken Pushen capsule (4 pills of each time, three times a day); Group B was the Rosuvastatin calcium tablet group (Crestor group) taken Crestor 10mg each night; Group C was combined treatment group and taken all the drugs of the upper groups. After 6 and 10 weeks, the lipemia regulation function of each groups were investigated. RESULTS Compare with before the treatment, each groups' TC/TG/TDL-C were declined remarkably after 6 and 10 weeks treatment (P<0.01), and HDL-C were risen prominently (P<0.01). 10 weeks total effective rate comparison shows that Groups A and C were higher than B on TG, group B and C were higher than A on TC/ LDL-C. The differences were significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference on HDL-C in three groups (P>0.05). Adverse reactions during treatment of three groups were mild. CONCLUSION total effective rate of declining TG of Pushen capsule Group is higher than Crestor Group, and combined treatment group is more effective than Pushen capsule only or Crestor only group on treating hyperlipemia. Crestor's total effective rate is higher than Pushen capsule group on lower TC/LDL-C.

Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To observe the clinical curative effect of Anchang Ningfu Decoction for diarrhea-predominant pattern irritable bowel syndrome (liver-stagnation and spleen-deficiency syndrome). METHODS 94 patients of diarrhea-predominant pattern irritable bowel syndrome (liver-stagnation and spleen-deficiency syndrome) were randomly divided into two groups. Treatment group was treated with Anchang Ningfu Decoction, and control group was orally taken Pinaverium Bromide Tablets (4 weeks for a course), and then changes in clinical efficacy were observed. RESULTS Compare with control group, treatment group's total effective rate and single integral are significantly different (P<0.05); the total effective rate of treatment group was 93.88%, and the control group was 86.67%; the clinical efficacy of treatment group is better than control group(P<0.05). CONCLUSION Anchang Ningfu Decoction has a good effect on diarrhea-predominant pattern irritable bowel syndrome (liver-stagnation and spleen-deficiency syndrome).
