On Uver Stored in Body as Musculoskeletal System
TIAN Jin-wen, SHI Qiao-rong, HAN Cheng-ren, WANG Shi-wen
2005, 21(3): 143-145.
Abstract:
Based on the insight that the physiological basis for the liver is the smooth muscle system, the authors deal with the concepts of "tendon" and "muscle and demonstrate the objective connection between smooth muscle and skeletal muscle. The author point out that skeletal muscle conforms to the physiological features of the liver and therefore liver stored in the body is skeletal muscle in the modern sense, thus perfecting the theory of the relationship between liver and the smooth muscle.
Role of Kidney, Liver and Heart in Occurrence of Perimenopausal Syndrome
FENG Juan
2005, 21(3): 146-147.
Abstract:
This paper deals with the relationship between the three zang organs (kidney, liver and heart) and perimenopausal syndrome . The author puts forward the view that the basic cause for the occurrence of perimenopausal syndrome is kidney deficiency and the key factors for the occurrence of the disease are deficiency of yin in the liver and kidney and incoordination between the heart and the kidney.

Effect of Xiaoxiantong Granule on SOD, MDA and ATP of Mice with Pain
ZHANG Qian-de, TAN Wen-feng
2005, 21(3): 161-162.
Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To explore into the mechanism of Xiaoxiantong Granule in the treatment of fibromyalgia syndrome ( FS). METHOD Pain models were made by injecting glacial acetic acid into the abdomen in order to observe the effect of Xiaoxiantong Granule. RESULT Small and medium dosages of Xiaoxiantong Granule could markedly increase the activity of SOD in the serum and brain and decrease MDA content, with great difference as compared with the blank group ( P < 0.05; P < 0.01) . Large dosage could also decrease the activity of SOD in the brain. In all groups, there was an increase in serum ATP content ( P < 0.05; P<0.01). CONCLUSION The mechanism of Xiaoxiantong Granule in the treatment of fibromyalgia syndrome is related to the clearing of free radical in the body.

WANU Guang-ning, LI Wei-dong, CAI Bao-chang
2005, 21(3): 168-170.
Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To optimize the extraction technique of Simiao Yongan Decoction.METHOD Orthogonal method was used to observe the condition of water extraction, with the yield of total flavonoids, caffeotannic acid and total glycosides as the observation indexes.RESULT The number of times of extraction is directly related to the various indexes. The optimal technique was determined with an alcohol sediment concentration of 70% . CONCLUSION This method can be used to extract the main active components in the decoction, which is simple and can meet enriching and purifying ends.
