Abstract: To explore the etiology， pathogenesis， diagnosis and treatment strategy of primary sjogren's syndrome based on the theory of body fluids and blood have the same origin. Combining the theory of body fluids and blood have the same origin and modern medical researches on primary sjogren's syndrome， it is pointed that the pathogenesis of primary sjogren's syndrome are abnormalities of body fluids and blood transformation and distribution. The general treating principle is "to treat dry syndrome with moist methods"， which could be differentiated and treated from several aspects including diffusing the lung to distribute the body fluids and smooth the meridians， activating blood circulation to remove blood stasis and smooth the meridians， nourishing yin to generate body fluids and moist meridians， clearing the heat and nourishing the dryness， nourishing yin and tonifying blood.
